Our church just completed True Financial Freedom and we are enrolling another group to start soon. I have facilitated (another financial class) for 25-30 groups over the years and I really feel True Financial Freedom is a much superior program. TFF is the only program I have seen that truly deals with the issues that need to be addressed with Christians, God's ownership and learning to freely turn use of His assets back to Him through generous giving.

When I think about the opportunity that we had to partner with Seedtime for the churchwide stewardship initiative I could not imagine a scenario where it could have gone better.

We have over 30 people who have registered for our in-person workshop this weekend, and over 20 who have already signed up for the on-demand class. This is very exciting because the last time we offered a finance event, we only had 2 people interested.

The best I have ever found for our church

We had our first class last night and it went even better than I thought it would. This content is seriously THE BEST I have ever found for leading our church to true financial freedom. We've already had people have breakthroughs in their thinking just from the one class.

Our church just completed True Financial Freedom and we are enrolling another group to start soon. I got a new job!!! With a 12k raise!! And I learned how God views finances. I've also turned on automatic monthly tithing. I'm just so excited and thankful for my new financial journey and how the Lord has totally changed my perspective regarding money.

Has led Crown and FPU, and still learned more

I love the one or two takeaways from each class that ANYONE can go apply immediately. ... That is from someone who has taken and led Crown Financial and Peace University and thought, "oh, I got this." Didn't think I could learn anything more on the subject, but I did!!

This was about the 5th financial class I've taken but it was the first one I've taken where at the end of each session I actually felt equipped and not burdened. The first time I left expecting change, and not just hoping for change.

After the first service in the first week of the series, we sold out of every single book we bought within 5 minutes of the service ending. ... We are seeing a lot of people take steps in their financial journey through this.

It's open enrollment time at work and after this class I went with the I know I can divert 1% of my pay into it. A small start but at least some. I also strongly encouraged my 20 something year old co-workers to do so as well.

I can't tell you enough about how much this course changed mine and my husbands finances and the outlook on it. They care, they really care about financial freedom... I can't recommend enough... so much so I want to pay for half of the course for someone.

Honestly just felt like a lot of lies about how I view finances were exposed and broken out. Finances have been a source of shame and guilt for many years because of how I was raised, but I look at it through a different lens now.

I have to tell you I was blown away by information on Jewish vs Christian wealth in Session 2. I played that part over and over and over again. Secondly the segment on John Wesley's wealth in Session 4 was a jaw dropper. Really phenomenal material.

About the class

What is TFF?

True Financial Freedom is a 6-session class from SeedTime that helps Christians see money through God's eyes: we are managers, not owners. It covers budgeting, getting out of debt, saving, and joyful generosity, with practical steps people can use the same week. Churches run it as a churchwide initiative or in small groups, with videos, a workbook, and facilitator support.
